Sharjeel Memon takes oath as Sindh information minister

Sindh government inducted PPP MPA from Hyderabad district Sharjeel Inam Memon in the provincial cabinet as Sindh information minister.

Acting Governor Agha Siraj Durani , in presence of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, administered oath to newly appointed minister Sharjeel Inam Memon at Governor House on Friday morning.

The oath taking ceremony was attended by provincial ministers, advisors, special assistants, Chief Secretary Sohail Rajput, and provincial secretaries.

Earlier, the provincial government had de-notified Transport Minister Awais Qadir Shah and in his place appointed Sharjeel Inam Memon.

Memon has been assigned the portfolio of Information department which was with Saeed Ghani. After reallocation of portfolios, Saeed Ghani would retain the portfolio of Labour and Human Resources while Sharjeel Inam Memon will be the Minister for Information.
