Monday is not a dull day for the BTS Army at least! Keeping up with the tradition of releasing bangers to groove with every summer, the South Korean boy band went an extra mile this year and surprised their fans with an announcement of a studio album, slated to release in two months.
On April 16, early Sunday morning, BTS took to Twitter and announced a new album with the tagline “We are bulletproof” coming on June 10, in a teaser video posted on social media.

The 50-second clip featured V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, Suga, RM, and J-Hope who are seen saying "We are bulletproof" together. The news came as a welcome but unprecedented surprise to fans as the 'Butter' artists were still busy closing their concert Permission to Dance On Stage in Las Vegas.
The video didn't reveal anything other than the statement and an album release date. The lack of details pressed fans’ curiosity about whether the statement is actually a tagline, a song name or the album name. The group's label Big Hit Music issued a statement saying that more information will be shared in the near future. According to Entertainment Weekly, the statement read, "BTS will be back with another new album on June 10, 2022. Details on the new album will be provided in a separate notice at a later date. We look forward to your love and support for BTS' new album. Thank you."
The boyband hasn't released an album after their fifth studio album Be in 2020, although they've made it to the top charts with singles Dynamite, Butter, Permission to Dance and a collaboration with Coldplay My Universe.
