The Pakistan People's Party, Karachi Division, has announced to organise a programme at Teen Talwar, Clifton, on Friday to celebrate the ouster of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's government.
The announcement to this effect was made by Sindh Information and Labour Minister, Saeed Ghani, who is also the PPP Karachi Division President, while addressing a press conference at the Sindh Assembly building on Tuesday.
He said that PPP Karachi would organise a public meeting titled 'Jashn-e-Nijaat' at Teen Talwar on Friday at 9pm to celebrate the end of the PTI's selected regime in the country.
Ghani greeted all the political parties in the country except PTI that the democratic and constitutional struggle to get rid of the anti-people regime in the country finally met its success.
He claimed that Pakistani rupee strengthened against the US dollar immediate after the downfall of PTI's regime.
Ghani welcomed the decision of the new government of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to increase the minimum monthly wage of labourers to Rs25,000 while recalling that Sindh in its last budget had already made such announcement.
He said that different representatives of employers had challenged in the court the decision of the Sindh government to increase the minimum monthly wage to Rs25,000 as the latest decision announced by PM Shehbaz Sharif would be helpful in strengthening the case of the provincial authorities in this regard.
