QUETTA:

Balochistan Assembly Secretariat has issued a notification about the appointment of Mir Quddus Bizenjo as the parliamentary leader of the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) on Tuesday.

According to the notification issued by the assembly secretariat Bizenjo has been appointed as the parliamentary leader after 14 lawmakers from the ruling party endorsed his name.

Bizenjo has replaced former senior minister, Mir Zahoor Buledi as the parliamentary leader in Balochistan Assembly. The total number of BAP lawmakers in the Balochistan Assembly is 24.

Despite the appointment of Bizenjo, differences still exist within the ruling party since the removal of former CM Jam Kamal Khan. Bizenjo had played a leading role in the removal of Jam and replaced him as the chief executive of the province in October last year.
