Target killers to be brought on TV within 48 hours: Malik
Speaking to the media in Karachi, the interior minister said the target killers will retrace their steps in the video and explain how they carried out their tasks , who assigned them to the killings and where they got their weapons from.

He said 52 suspects had been detained in overnight operations in Karachi.
Malik said that five bodies found in the city had been identified and they had been killed in a feud, and were not target killings. He said that no new killings had taken place since 2am.
The interior minister said that he will soon visit schools, colleges and universities to help form a youth force who will help monitor their neighbourhoods and report any untoward incidents. He said the Inspector General of Police (IG) was working with him on this.
Earlier, Malik had met traders in Karachi who had expressed their concern over the law and order situation in the city.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Chairman Board of Investment Sindh, Zubair Motiwala had said the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry had not demanded the deployment of the army in the city.
He said Malik had assured him that that action will be taken against miscreants and traders will be provided complete security.

People would like to see them behind the bars rather than tv, and v know that its just a statement by Mr.Malik he don't have guts to arrest them.................

Can anybody give me justification of giving Sitara-e-Imtiaz to this moron? He didn't even accept these are target killings and says people are killed in feud and their girlfriends and wives are behind this. What the hell is this? People are dying everyday and no politician is showing seriousness. Set them all on fire and come out people. Make a move or else we will all be doomed for good.
Come to think of it, criminals already come on TV although they call themselves politicians.
The kidnappers come in a van,abduct a person,take them to their torture cells located in a distant area, torture the poor beings in every possible way,then wrap the bodies in a sac,and dump the sacs in a far-off place and dont get intercepted by the police even once!makes one wonder whether the police is paralyzed?/nonexistent?/ordered not to do anything?/paid to ignore all suspicious activities?/helping the miscreants?The Chief justice has a habbit of taking suo motu notice of everything,i guess he has n't turned on his t.v. set for the last 3 days due to the HOLY month of Ramadan>???and i think the ARMY CHIEF is also sitting in AIETEKAAF?????

Pakistan is a movement and it shall stand out!!!!!There are many good things to do that could put bad things behind. Only two years ago there was a roar of so-called Taliban which was successfully stopped by our forces. Imagine nailing misguided taliban in rocky mountain hide outs at Kurram in recent times. Our media does not play up this success.
Hence nabbing killers in Lyari is also no big deal.
So is Mr Malik, now director of a new show on TV, starring 'target killers' ?

@Yasin Ali: A totally out of context comment. The case you are referring to is sub-judice and in process. It has nothing to do with interior ministry.
I think he meant brought to court. Why would he want to bring criminals on TV; for talk shows?
The man should have been sacked long time back but it does'nt happen in Pakistan.

What is solution to the problem of karachi? we all should make suggestions to Govt. and further press fastest road map to peace in karachi. Many have come forward with their suggestion i put forward my earnest one as below. Army commandoes and commanders should be stationed as SHO of all karachi police stations. they should use FC/Rangers and police as back-up for their actions. A Lieu-General should be placed as special Home minister or commander of Karachi Peace actions with absolute powers. All local police people should be sent to psychological and political plus islamic training in interior of sindh. Judiciary should bring a fastest course of special judicial system to karachi. Military court are preferable course. All political forces shall be debarred from issuing hatred accusations.
We must save Pakistan , karachi or any thousand of people can be sacrificed.

Yes Mr Minister !! We have heard this old record too often over past few months, and its getting rather worn, but your enthusiasm and at same time your lack of any possible action so far speaks more volume as to your inactions for the people of Karachi !!
