And then they became three! Congratulations are in order for Shahbaz Taseer, son of slain Punjab Governor Salman Taseer and wife, model and actor Neha Taseer for growing their family. The couple welcomed a baby boy this week.
A social media influencer, a close friend of the new mother, sent Neha her heartfelt wishes as she posted a glimpse of the newest addition to the Taseer family on Instagram. “Met the most handsome little boy yesterday,” wrote Neha's friend. “Neha, you did well. May Allah bless him immensely.”
Neha and Shahbaz tied the knot last year in September 2021 in a series of intimate events that were attended by close friends and family. On their Nikkah, Neha looked like a breath of fresh air donning a stunning icy blue ensemble by Hussain Rehar. Playing with hues of blue, silver and pink, she wore only gajras on her wrists and kept her jewellery and makeup minimal, with the exception of a bold eye-liner that complimented her big eyes.
The larger than life maang tikka on her forehead also tied the look together. Taseer, on the other hand, sported a plain white sherwani with a beige overcoat, complimented by a pink handkerchief to colour coordinate with his now-wife.
Shahbaz also shares a four-year-old daughter with ex-wife Maheen Ghani.
