Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI), Sindh, on directives of Imran Khan, staged a peaceful protest against the opposition they have labeled as 'anti-national elements' and 'traders of conscience' at the Sohrab Goth area late on Thursday night.
Sindh Assembly Opposition Leader Haleem Adil Sheikh, PTI Karachi President Bilal Ghaffar, General Secretary MNA Saifur Rehman Mehsud, and PTI Sindh Assembly members participated in the protest that continued till the early hours of Friday.
While addressing the protest, Sheikh said that Imran Khan was the Prime Minister of 220 million Pakistanis who are wholeheartedly supporting him. He said that Imran Khan will never let the country fall into the hands of those whose past is tainted with corruption. The politicians who hatched conspiracy after receiving dollars from foreign powers must be called brokers as they have not only traded their conscience but also the country, he said.
During the Zardari and Nawaz regimes, more than four hundred drone attacks were carried out in Pakistan causing the loss of hundreds of innocent lives and the then governments remained tight-lipped while only Imran Khan dared to protest against the strikes and challenged the external forces, Haleem Adil said.
He said that not a single drone strike took place during the PTI government. Maulana, Nawaz, and Zardari did not break their silence even on the most serious issue of blasphemous sketches, whereas PM Imran Khan raised loud and strong voices against it all over the world and got the publication of blasphemous materials banned, he recalled.

Meanwhile, PTI Parliamentary Leader in Sindh Assembly Khurram Sher Zaman said that if Imran Khan had not been the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Pakistan Steel Mills would have been sold off along with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and post offices would have been turned into donkey barns.
It was Imran who secured release of thousands of Pakistanis jailed broad. Zaman said that unlike the PML-N government Imran did not send mangos and sarees to Indian Premier Narindra Modi. He said that baring Imran, no one dared to tell the West that Islam is not related to terrorism, he added in his statement that PDM should be ready for surprise. Imran Khan will play till the last ball. I tell Pakistani people not to be disappointed.
If the court can make a decision regarding the rolling of the parliament, then the 18th amendment should also be challenged in the court, Khurram Sher Zaman said.
