PESSI to spend over Rs50 million on HMIS

Plans to introduce Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) at 16 major hospitals

Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) with an estimated cost of Rs50.10 million is introducing Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) at 16 of the major hospitals under it.

The project will be materialised with the coordination of Punjab Information and Technology Board (PITB).

The hospitals included (Social Security Hospital (SSH) Multan Road Lahore, (Maternity and New Born Childcare Hospital (MNCH) Faisalabad, SSH Shandara, SSH Sheikhupura, SSH Gujranwala, SSH Sialkot, SSH Okara, SSH Islamabad, SSH Gujrat, SSH Kot Lakhpat, SSH Jauharabad, SSH Jarranwala, Khawaja Fareed Social Security Hospital (KFSSH) Multan, SSH Faisalabad, SSH Sahiwal and SSH Jhang.

The targeted deadline for project completion is by the end of September 2022.

According to procurement plan of the project Rs11.62 million will be spent to purchase Core i-5 laptops, Rs7.44 million for scanners, Rs1.2 million for Android phones, Rs2.60 million for Turnkey Conference Ro Solution, RS5.95 million for Palm Print Devices, Rs3.18 million for Core i-5 Desktops and UPS. As many as Rs5.01 million for DR Server Room Solution and Client Site (hospital) server room Solution.

The other procurement items included different hardware, software and anti-viruses.
