200 Levies men trained by army

The army has imparted the best training to the newly recruited Levies personnel to battle terrorism

QUETTA:

The army has trained 200 Levies personnel to maintain peace in Balochistan. The military’s 12-Corps imparted SSG light commando training to the Levies recruits to battle terrorists and ensure peace in the province plagued by violence. Passing out parade of the newly passed recruits was held at the Counter-Terrorism Center Quetta.

Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Muhammad Hashim Ghilzai was the chief guest of the passing out parade. DirectorGeneral Levies Balochistan, Qadir Bakhsh Pirkani was also present on the occasion. The army has imparted the best training to the newly recruited Levies personnel to battle terrorism and play their due role in maintaining the peace of the country’s largest province, Ghilzai said.

He urged the newly passed Levies men to play their role and demonstrate professional skills to maintain peace and protect the lives of the citizens. On the occasion, the soldiers of the Levies Force presented various items learned during the training. Later, ACS Home and DG Levies appreciated the quality of the Levies Force and congratulated the soldiers who completed the training.
