Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Secretary Dr Shehzad Bangash has said that all resources will be utilized to improve the linkages between universities and industry. The recommendations of the Pakhtunkhwa Economic Policy and Research Institute will be used to formulate economic policy in K-P.
He was addressing the concluding session of a two-day international conference on economic policy decision-making organized by the Pakhtunkhwa Economic Policy Research Institute as chief guest.
The conference was attended by Secretary Finance Ikramullah Khan, Secretary Industry Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Secretary Planning and Development Shah Mehmood, Himaytullah Khan, Vice Chancellor of Abdul Wali Khan University Professor Dr Zahoorul Haq, Commissioner Mardan Division Syed Abdul Jabbar Shah.
Shehzad Bangash said that universities need to focus on research and apply the research in different field.
He also congratulated the Vice Chancellor of Abdul Wali Khan University Professor Dr Zahoorul Haq and his entire team on the occasion of the successful conference and said that the recommendations made by the Economic Policy and Research Institute of the University is commendable.
Transparency in all institutions has been ensured for better governance in K-P, he added.
