SRK’s abs set internet on fire: Fans can swear he's aging backward

Shah Rukh Khan is back and it goes without saying he's never looked better!

The Bollywood King, who’s been filming Pathaan in Spain, made headlines for his transformation after sharing a glimpse of his look from the flick. Taking to his Instagram on March 26, SRK shared a shirtless photo of himself, flashing his abs and his gorgeous long hair tied in a messy bun.

He captioned the post in his quirky fashion, “Shah Rukh agar thoda Rukh bhi gaya toh Pathaan ko kaise rokoge.. Apps aur Abs sab bana dalunga.”

Of course, celebs could not help but praise his dedication to looking the part, especially since the superstar is now 56. Varun Dhawan dropped three fire emojis along with a clap emoticon. We feel you, Varun, we do. Following suit, Gully Boy actor Ranveer Singh also dropped fire emojis to let King Khan know that he was absolutely smitten.

Director Farah Khan commented, “This is just beautiful, so jealous it’s not for my film.” Bipasha Basu chimed in with a big “Wow” while SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan shared the photo on her Instagram to remind us, “Uh, my dad is 56...we are not allowed excuses.” We most certainly aren’t.

Netizens also complimented the actor for clearly aging backward. A user shared a post pointing out, “Fun fact, in a year SRK will be as old as Amitabh Bachchan was when they started filming Mohabbatein.” Another quipped, “The waves sequences in the recent film Gehraiyaan was shot on SRK's abs.” A user rightfully pitched in, “No one knows how to win social media like SRK, with or without shirt.”

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan is an action-drama bankrolled by YRF that stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. On March 2, SRK released a video announcing the release date of Pathaan.

Needless to say, we can’t wait for the film to finally hit an OTT medium!
