Ladi Gang robbers storm police station
Armed robbers of the Ladi Gang on Saturday barged into the Border Military Police’s Kushuba Police Station unchallenged, roamed the police station, visited different sections of it and made a video of their incursion and uploaded it on the social media
They even held two police personnel hostage during their raid. Senior commandant of the BMP and the deputy commissioner, while taking a serious notice of the incident, have suspended the SHO of the Kushuba Police Station.
A case against the Ladi Gang accused was registered.
In the video, which has since gone viral, the members of the Ladi Gang alleged that they used to pay a certain amount of money to the SHO Kushuba Police Station each month in order to let them roam the area freely and commit acts of crime. According to sources, BMP Kushuba Police Station personnel and officers had been under constant threat by the Ladi Gang.
The Ladi Gang continues to pose a challenge to the lawenforcement agencies after they have regrouped following their leader Khuda Bakhsh Chakrani’s killing in a major operation a few months ago.
