Temperate to cross 40 degrees Celsius

The port city witnessed a searing day on Sunday with mercury shooting above 40 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department of Pakistan (PMD) has issued a forecast that sea breeze is expected to remain active on Monday and the weather will be mild.

Not a good news for the people who fast, temperatures are expected to rise again on March 29 and 30. As per weather report the weather in the city remained hot throughout Sunday due to the hot desert winds of Balochistan.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 40.5 degrees Celsius humidity during the day remained 30%. The minimum temperature in the morning was recorded at 21.5 degrees Celsius. The southwesterly winds from the sea took a break allowing hot gusts of desert to roast the coastal city.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department's Early Warning Center, sea breezes are expected to remain active from today and the temperature in the city is expected to drop. Today and tomorrow (Tuesday) the temperature may be recorded between 34 to 36 degrees Celsius. However, after two days of balanced weather, the heat wave is likely to intensify again. The weather is expected to be warm again from March 30 to April 1.
