Commissioner orders uploading data related to anti-dengue activities

The divisional administration registered six FIRs and 38 notices to violators of anti-dengue policy during the week across the area.

A review meeting on dengue and corona vaccination was held on Thursday, chaired by Commissioner Multan division Dr Irshad Ahmad. He ordered staff to lodge FIRs if dengue larvae are recovered from any commercial building.

The health department teams were directed to conduct surveillance of houses, tyre shops and graveyards and seal all locations if dengue larvae are found.

CEO Health Dr Shoaib Gormani stated in a briefing that cases were registered against United Mall Gulgasht in Multan, Multan Sarai House Lari Ada, United Bakery and Bank Al-Falah Shujaabad. Larvae has been recovered from four places in Musa Pak Town, four places in Sher Shah Town, 19 places in Shah Rakn-e-Alam Town and 10 places in Bosan Town.

Additionally, health department staff were tasked to launch cleanliness drives at all public places including parks and ponds. The commissioner further ordered data be uploaded to the portal related to dengue activities using the latest Android system, while urging citizens to maintain a clean and dry environment to eradicate dengue.
