LONDON:

Lauding Pakistan for its hosting of the 48th session of the OIC foreign ministers in Islamabad, Tehreek-e-Kashmir (TeK) United Kingdom President Raja Fahim Kayani urged the top Muslim bloc to "walk the talk on Kashmir".

He termed Pakistan hosting the summit as a vote of confidence in the leadership and people of the country from the Muslim world.

“It is not a hidden truth that all anti-Pakistan powers came together to hurt the interests of Pakistan but the OIC summit happening in Pakistan brings back to fore the important position of Islamabad in international affairs,” Kayani added.

“It is an honour for Pakistan to host officials of Muslim countries when the country will be celebrating its 75th resolution Day on March 23,” he added.

Pointing to the statements made by the Pakistani leadership at the summit, the Kashmiri activist said the address by Prime Minister Imran Khan shed light on the diverging interests of the member states leading to the unfulfilled objectives of the Muslim world.

“OIC's role is very significant if it acts. It is the world’s second-largest multi-national body comprising of 57 nations, meaning it can have a huge impact if it walks the talk," he maintained.

The TeK leader further said that the division among the OIC members had led the occupying nations like India and Israel to exploit this situation and cement their colonisation of Kashmir and Palestine.

He went on to add that PM Khan was “right when he said that OIC has failed Kashmiris”.

“Time is running fast and the inability of the OIC to act according to the international law, the UN and its own resolutions only raise questions about the feasibility of the organisation,” he remarked.

Urging “strategy and actionable motion” on Kashmir by the bloc, Kayani said India earned around $34 billion from Gulf countries every year in remittances only.”

"This means that Gulf countries, all Muslim nations, have a huge influence on Indians but little do these nations know that the money earned in their lands is misused by India against Muslims and Kashmiris. This money lands in the coffers of fascist RSS and its lynchpin BJP which has wreaked havoc against Kashmiris and Muslims.”

He also urged the OIC to take notice of the money flow, “It could be as well used to hold India accountable for its war crimes and crimes against humanity inflicted on Indian Muslims and Kashmiris.”

He further stated the OIC is in a “good position to move a motion against India at the UN and hold it accountable for genocide and war crimes”.

“There is need to move beyond statements and condemnations; our youth who are being subjugated by the Indian fascist military are looking towards the OIC leadership for ending this illegal and inhuman occupation,” he also said.
