Bring 172 MNAs to save your govt, Ghani tells PM Imran Khan
Sindh Information and Labour Minister, Saeed Ghani, has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan does not have confidence of the majority numbers of the MNAs as the ruling party used the upcoming OIC conference an excuse to delay the National Assembly session.
Speaking at a press conference here at the Sindh Assembly building on Monday, the minister said that after a number of lawmakers of the ruling party left them, the PM couldn't prove his majority in the National Assembly although the allied parties of the government reaffirmed their loyalty to Imran Khan.
Ghani advised the PM that instead of convening a public meeting of one million people at D-Chowk in Islamabad, he should bring with him just 172 MNAs loyal to the PTI in order to preserve his rule.
He reminded the National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser that at the time of assuming the office he had taken the oath of protecting the Constitution rather than being loyal to Imran Khan.
He lamented that the National Assembly Speaker had violated the Constitution as proceedings could be initiated against him under Article six of the constitution.

Ghani said the Speaker was bound to convene the session of National Assembly within 14 days after the requisition had been submitted by the opposition for the purpose but the constitution was violated by delaying the convening of the session.
Ghani said the concerned MNAs had opted to take refuge in the Sindh House in Islamabad after police had stormed the Parliament Lodges and arrested two legislators.
Appreciating Indian foreign policy regrettable
Criticising the military establishment on social media and appreciating the Indian foreign policy during the presence of OIC foreign ministers in the country is highly regrettable, Sindh Energy Ministry Imtiaz Ahmed Shah expressed these views while critising the federal government in a press conference at Sindh Assembly on Monday.
At the press conference, the minister condemned the unfortunate attack on Sindh House by Tiger terrorists.
He said that the attack was on the integrity of Sindh.
Sheikh said, “we do not want to talk in the tone of federal ministers but we are being forced to do so by the Sheeda Tilli of Rawalpindi.”
