10 killed in Punjab road accidents

1,012 were injured across Punjab during the last 24 hours

At least 10 people died, whereas 1,012 were injured in Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs) across Punjab during the last 24 hours. Out of this 623 people were critically injured who were shifted to different hospitals.

Whereas, 423 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident sites. The majority (69%) of the accidents involved motorcycles. Further, the analysis showed that 459 drivers, 34 underage drivers, 120 pedestrians, and 477 passengers were among the victims of these road traffic crashes.

The statistics showed that 271 RTCs were reported in Lahore which affected 268 persons placing the Provincial Capital at top of the list followed by 81 Faisalabad in with 89 victims and at third Gujranwala with 65 RTCs and 62 victims.

The details further reveal that 1012 victims were affected by road traffic crashes including 825 males and 231 females.
