Two women held for allegedly selling ice drug

Police claim seizing 600gms of crystal ice and Rs477,000 in cash from suspects

KARACHI:

The Preedi Police arrested two women allegedly involved in drug trafficking in operation.

According to police, the arrested suspects include Aqeela and Saira. Both women were arrested when they were selling drugs in the area. The suspects sell drugs in different parts of the city and their other accomplices.

Police claimed to have recovered 600gm of crystal ice (methamphetamine) and Rs477,000 in cash from Aqeela and Saira. A case has been registered against both women, and further investigation is underway.

Meanwile the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Sindh and ANF Intelligence conducted a raid near Northern Bypass, in Gadap Town Karachi area and recovered 172.6 kgs of hashish from a bus and arrested two suspects, Nadir Khan, a resident of Mastung, and Qudrat Ullah a resident of Qilla Abdulla. The drugs were being smuggled from Quetta to Karachi. ANF team also recovered huge quantity of smuggled betel nut.
