The future is female! As cliché as it is, women in the entertainment industry are literally set to run the world. While upholding their tiring schedules as actors, producers, and models, some celebrities also went the extra mile to test the waters with their entrepreneurial skills and climbed their way to financial independence, security and immense personal growth.

This women’s day, we give a shoutout to these gorgeous, dedicated and powerful forces that continue to relay a reminder to all the women out there to keep fighting the stereotypes and believe in themselves. Here’s a list of some of the many female celebrities who’ve made their marks not just in the showbiz industry but also in the world of business as young entrepreneurs. 1. Ayesha O. Beauty by Ayesha Omar

What is there that Ayesha Omar can’t do? The Bulbulay actor commercialised her love for nature through a passion project by introducing her own skincare line. Her skincare and beauty products are not just targeted towards women and fight the idea of toxic masculinity in society. Ayesha O. Beauty is for all genders and sexes and apart from its organic ingredients and tips on healing, the social media page caters to resolve for spiritual and mental well-being as well. Wholesome!

2. Aiman Minal Closet

Believing in their fashion sense, the twin sisters Aiman and Minal Khan started their luxury clothing brand titled Aiman Minal Closet during the pandemic. The duo models for the brand themselves as the clothes are from their own closets and aim to create a collection that appeals to the everyday girl with a taste of elegance and style while adding to the high street and fashion world.

3. Musk by Mushk

Adding to her quick success and fame in the modelling industry, Mushk Kaleem now runs a scented candles brand called Musk by Mushk. Her line of luxury soy candles packaged in hand-crafted marble containers started off with a few limited scents in two sizes but now has grown into different candle types and growing scents – all within a year of its launch! Her range comprises of marble coasters too.

4. UxM #WHOCAN by the Hocane sisters

Another sibling project, the creative sisters, Mawra and Urwa did an inspiring wordplay with their brand name featuring the motivational hashtag #WHOCAN derived from their surname. The venture translates their inspiring sisterhood into something tangible and consists of casual western wear, festive traditional wear and chic accessories.

5. Evervanna by Saheefa Jabbar Khattak
The model-turned-actor-turned-entrepreneur, Saheefa also launched her own clothing line called Evervanna. The clothes draw close inspiration from the 33-year-old’s own dressing style while aiming to introduce accessible and inclusive quality streetwear locally. Khattak along with her husband, Khawaja Khizer Hussain amongst other people model for the clothes themselves in order to promote a less modelesque body type to further push non-inclusive beauty standards.
