Apple's upcoming product launch this spring will likely be focused on performance, which means faster chips, more devices with 5G integration, and powerful cameras. The virtual event's tagline, "peek performance" offers insight into what can be expected at the launch.

The company is expected to announce product updates, a big upgrade to MacBooks and iMacs which will be powered by the second iteration of its in-house processor. According to a report by CNN, the main focus of the launch would be around the new updated and affordable iPhone SE with 5G integration.

Apple CEO, Tim Cook, might take the stage at the event to say a few words in support of Ukraine after the company also banned their sale of Apple products in Russia. Here's what products you can expect at the virtual event taking place at 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET, live-streamed from its website and social media platforms.

The affordable 5G iPhone

According to rumors, Apple is possibly launching its new updated iPhone SE this spring, which was initially released in 2017 and updated in 2020. The new updated version will reportedly run on its new A15 Bionic chip with an updated 4K camera, while the classic notch will disappear from its design. With 5G capabilities, this phone will be affordable and will draw quite a few buyers.

5G iPad Air

The next generation of iPad Air will be 5G integrated with the A15 Bionic chip processor and a new front-facing camera.

New Macbooks

Apple is expected to show off new versions of its 13-inch Macbook Pro, Mac Mini, Macbook Air, and 24-inch Mac. Bloomberg reported, that all the new devices will contain the M2 silicon chip. The M1 silicon chipset was introduced by Apple in 2020 and was declared as the world's fastest CPU core with the fastest integrated graphics in a computer.

CNN also assumes the event might include a surprise that no one can anticipate like Apple's AirTags and tile-like Bluetooth locator last year.
