Aseefa thanks well wishers, medical staff for aid after drone injury
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Aseefa Bhutto Zardari on Saturday thanked her well-wishers for the "outpouring of love and prayers" after she suffered minor injuries from a drone during the PPP's long march.
The PPP leader thanked the provincial rescue services of Punjab, and the doctors present at the site for their "stellar and immediate" first aid.
She also thanked the hospital staff and local police officials for rushing her to the hospital.

Friday's mishap happened when Aseefa was on top of the container with her brother, PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Bilawal, while addressing the participants of the march on Friday, confirmed that his sister was injured after being hit by the drone. Paramedic staff available at the venue had suggested that she needed stitches but Aseefa had reportedly refused.
The PPP Awami March started from Karachi on February 27. The marchers travelling through Thatta, Sajawal, Badin, Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Khairpur, Sukkur and Ghotki reached Rahimyar Khan on Thursday.
