BHAKKAR:

A seven-year-old boy died after being bitten by a dog in Ada Barkatwala.

Abdul Razzaq, son of Muhammad Riaz, was returning home from school when he was bitten by a stray dog.

The incident led to a protest by the people against the departments responsible for clearing the area of stray dogs.

Residents of the area said that they had repeatedly drawn the attention of the departments concerned to this issue and had also lodged a complaint on the Citizen’s Portal.

They alleged that the departments concerned had lied with the higher authorities by saying that the area had been cleared of stray dogs.

The incident has created a tense atmosphere in the area, and parents are not allowing their children to leave home.
