In a recent appearance on Wajahat Rauf’s talk show, actor Zarnsih Khan spoke candidly about her passion for dance, her thoughts on cosmetic surgery, as well as her opinions of various people in the showbiz industry.
The model-turned-actor shared with the host after he said that he gets a “nice vibe” from her that other members of the entertainment industry may not echo the same sentiment. She explained, “You’re probably the only person in the industry who feels that way… For some weird reason, whoever meets me for the first time gets intimidated by me. People often tell me that.”
When asked whether she would have picked dancing over acting if it weren’t for the social stigma surrounding the former, Khan revealed, “No, that’s really not the case. Becoming an actor was more of my destiny rather than choice. But, yes, dancing is my first and foremost… one thing that I love to explore.”
After the host asked the actor to confirm whether she initially wanted to pursue medicine, Khan was quick to deny the rumour. “I had no chance when it comes to becoming a doctor,” she shared, adding, “My family wanted me to pursue a career in medicine, but I had no chance of that happening. I don’t think I have the courage required to be a doctor. I can’t see blood or people in pain.”
In a rapid-fire session in which the host asked the Aitebaar actor to share whether she thinks Feroze Khan would win in a “spiritual conversation” competition or her, the actor was quick to share that she believes that the Aye Musht-e-Khaak actor would take the top spot.
In the same vein, when the host asked Khan who she thinks the better dancer is, her or Faryal Mehmood, the actor responded with confidence that she would win a competition against the latter. After the host poked fun at Mehmood for her dancing skills, Khan concurred, adding, “The one thing that has been lacking these days is the grace and resistance involved in dancing.”
When it came to the question of who is more disrespectful and rude between her and Alizeh Shah, Khan responded, “It doesn’t matter who [Alizeh is] up against, she’ll win.”
Speaking about whether she would opt for any cosmetic enhancements such as botox or lip fillers, Khan shared that she has no interest in any of that. “I don’t think I want to change anything about myself,” she shared. The actor added, “I wouldn’t want to change anything in my face. You can see in ten years' time, I’ll look the same. I don’t want the duck lips. They’ve all turned into ducks these days. Seriously, they were all so pretty. What happened?”
