YouTuber Zack Nelson put the OnePlus 10 Pro to the durability test, only to witness it break in two when he pushed the middle to bend it.
The phone which is already out in China has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and a 5,000mAh battery. In Nelson's video posted on his YouTube channel, JerryRigEverything, the back glass, and camera bump first began to crack. On more pressure, the top part begins to fold and break.
While inspecting the inside of the phone after the break, Nelson noted that the phone snapped right above the battery, and the placement of the cell, along with the thin metal exterior, aided in making the phone breakable with just bare hands.
The test helped prove that the new OnePlus 10 Pro is quite susceptible to damage, especially when bent too much. According to some reports like The Verge, previously many returned their iPhone 6 and 6 Plus bent as well.
JerryRigEverything is a YouTube channel run by an American technology reviewer, Zack Nelson. The channel gained popularity for its technology reviews including smartphones, watches, apps and much more and has 7 million subscribers.
