‘Attock’s mother and child hospital to be opened in December’

Yasmin Rashid says maternal hospitals will be set up across Punjab

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid has said that the mother and child care hospital in Attock will be inaugurated in December.

Addressing a function after visiting the under-construction facility, she said that the hospital will have qualified teams of physicians, technicians, nurses and administrative staff who will offer the best services to expecting mothers, facilitate them during labour and delivery and treat other health problems of women and children.

She said that all facilities will be provided in the hospital, which will ensure the best services to thousands of mothers and children.

Dr Yasmin Rashid said that the hospital was in the final stage of completion and will be inaugurated in December. She said that residences for doctors and nurses will also be set up in the hospital.

The provincial health minister said that maternal hospitals will be set up across Punjab according to the vision of the prime minister. The credit for building all the new maternal hospitals in Punjab goes to the prime minister and the Punjab chief minister, she said.

Dr Yasmin Rashid said that no government in the past provided so many facilities to the people in the health sector in Punjab. She said that today the whole world is watching the progress in the health sector of Punjab with respect.

She said that the credit for providing 48,000 jobs in the health department and providing ideal facilities in the health sector in Punjab goes to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government.
