Many Pakistani products such as sports goods, medicines and surgical instruments have good potential for trade in Kazakhstan, said Kazakh Ambassador to Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin.
Speaking during his visit to the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Tuesday, he announced that a high-powered business delegation, led by the president of Kazakhstan, was planning to visit Pakistan in September. According to him, the exchange would strengthen business-to-business relations between the two countries. He announced that a separate business delegation from his country would visit Pakistan in the ongoing month to interact with Pakistani counterparts and tap business opportunities in the local market.
“The delegation will also visit Lahore and Karachi,” said Kistafin. A single-country exhibition of Pakistan is planned in Almaty in May 2022, he said and recommended ICCI members to consider participating and displaying products in it.Kistafin invited a delegation from ICCI to visit Kazakhstan and assured complete cooperation for signing of a memorandum of understanding between ICCI and the Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan.
Citing that the two nations enjoyed cordial relations, ICCI President Muhammad Shakeel Munir stressed that they should be transformed into strong trade and economic relations.
