SWAT:

Two women and a girl were killed reportedly in the attack of a wild animal in Matta, Swat district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Thursday.

Police told The Express Tribune that the incident took place in Onra Weeny and no man was at home at the time of the attack. The victims have been identified as 60-year-old Kabuli Bibi, Jehan Begum, 40 and Robina, 5.

It is believed that a leopard entered the house probably in search of chickens and was confronted by the family members as a result the animal killed all the three.

“They have head injuries. The skull of one victim was broken too. The village is located in a far flung mountainous region where wild animals abound,” claimed a police official, adding that all the bodies have been sent for autopsy which will confirm the cause of the death and the animal attack theory.
