For all those upset about bidding farewell to the ace cricketer Shahid Afridi after this year’s PSL, we’ve got some good news for you!

While Afridi may be leaving the field, it seems like he has his eyes set on creating his own space for fans and food lovers alike. Taking to Instagram, Lala shared a clip of himself in a chef’s jacket putting up a show of his culinary skills and teased the opening of his new restaurant in Dubai. The restaurant’s name was revealed in a hashtag Lala Darbar. "Get ready to give your taste buds a mouthwatering triple tarka," Afridi wrote in his post along with the description of his restaurant; a place that promises to offer authentic desi food to people residing in Dubai.

The business page says that it is an "authentic desi restaurant chain" by the cricketer. The amusing part is how Afridi is fusing his athletic passion into his new venture. There are a few glimpses already in the restaurant’s logo, and with his signature victory pose on the banner, one can only assume how playful he can get with the fusion of cricket and food.
