CHAKWAL:

Holding Punjab Talent Hunt Competitions for the promotion of arts and culture is a great initiative to encourage the arts and artists, said Chakwal Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADCG) Asher Iqbal.

He was addressing a prize distribution of the Punjab Talent Hunt competitions held in Chakwal on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the participants of these competitions had received ample opportunities to express themselves through their art.

Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) Director Waqar Ahmed said that the steps taken by the Punjab government for the promotion of arts and culture had been well received. “Even artistes from remote areas have the opportunity to bring their art to the world,” he added.

The talent hunt was organised at the University of Chakwal under the auspices of the RAC.
