The cricket world has been a fan of Muhammad Rizwan’s talent since the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 but this time around, his captaincy skills in PSL 7 have been the most-talk-about trait. Fans cannot get over his composed, encouraging and strategic demeanour while leading the unbeaten (so far) Multan Sultans.
A Twitter user said, “It is Rizwan’s league, and we’re just living in it.”

On Tuesday, Multan Sultans overcame Shadab Khan’s blistering 91 off 42 balls to beat Islamabad United by 20 runs and bagged their fourth successive win in the PSL. While the match was a tough call with three dropped catches and missed boundaries, it seems like all people noticed yesterday was how Rizwan as a captain remained calm and optimistic throughout.
From cheering for his player who dropped the catch to hugging Tim David on his half-century, we need more players like him and the micro-blogging site agrees.
All hail, Rizwan!
Netizens are calling him a "natural" at being a leader and these moments are proof of it!
Champions don't worry about the toss, said Rizwan yesterday and he's proving himself to be a champion. https://t.co/ARzilZfXYL

After Khushdil Shah being hit for a boundary by Sarfaraz, Rizwan smiled & gave confidence to Khushdil while commentator said that Rizwan is never gonna get down, that's not his way. Then on the very next ball Khushdil Shah got Sarfaraz out. #QGvMS pic.twitter.com/wFmgH03Y21

A journey of growth!
While they love to see where the cricketer has reached, it was beautiful how people remembered how hard he had to struggle in his initial years.
Misbah-ul-Haq — "Mohammad Rizwan is a hardworking cricketer. I did knew Rizwan has ability to play in the toporder. Credit for success of Rizwan only goes to him. Nobody else should be appreciated other than cricketer himself because it's his hardwork which pays off." #HBLPSL7

A separate fanbase altogether
Apart from his stellar sportsmanship, his hugs and smile have a separate fanbase too.
