MIRPUR:

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi on Monday strongly condemned the murder of five citizens by Indian forces in Pulwama and Budgam cities of occupied Kashmir.

Talking to various delegations at Jammu Kashmir House in the federal metropolis, he called upon sovereign nations and international human rights forums to take immediate notice of the ugly situation in occupied Kashmir.

He said that Indian forces have launched a systematic war of repression against innocent people struggling for the liberation of their motherland.

“India is the biggest terrorist country in the world which is engaged in genocide of Kashmiri people to crush the freedom movement launched by the people of occupied Kashmir for attaining their fundamental right to self determination,” the prime minister said.

He urged the United Nations (UN), Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the international community to  play their practical role in stopping Indian atrocities.  Niazi said that Indian atrocities have crossed all boundaries and occupied Kashmir has now become the largest military base in the world.

“There are 900,000 Indian occupying troops stationed in the bleeding vale of Kashmir where India was blatantly involved in committing serious crimes against humanity,” the premier said.

He said that India's hands were stained with the blood of the Kashmiri people. He underlined the need for taking concrete steps to mobilise the international community for resolving the longstanding Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN resolutions.

Niazi also said that Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Cell would be organised on modern lines so that it could play an effective role in apprising the world of “history's worst crimes” against innocent human beings.

He further said that his government was taking all possible solid steps for the speedy progress and prosperity of AJK with prime focus on socioeconomic well-being of the people of the liberated territory.
