ISLAMABAD:

Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed all elected representatives of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to boost the party’s public relations campaign to ensure success in the second phase of the upcoming local body elections in the province.

Members of National and Provincial Assemblies of PTI from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa met the premier along with K-P Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Monday.

Participants of the meeting held discussions on the overall political situation in the province, ongoing development schemes and issues related to party organisation.

The prime minister directed all party leaders to intensify the public relations campaign and mobilise party workers for the second phase of the upcoming local body elections in the province.

PTI leaders Mehboob Shah, Mohammad Bashir Khan, Junaid Akbar, Muhammad Nawaz Khan, Saleh Muhammad, K-P provincial assembly members, Nazir Ahmad Abbasi, Haji Qalandar Khan Lodhi, Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, Zubair Khan, Taj Muhammad, Wazirzada, Muhammad Azam Khan, Humayun Khan, Liaquat Ali Khan, Shafiullah, Muhammad Deedar Khan, Abdul Ghaffar, Syed Iqbal Mian. Shakeel Ahmed, Pir Masoor Khan, Syed Ahmed Hussain Shah, Babar Saleem Swati, Nawabzada Farid Salahuddin, and Mohibullah Khan also participated during the session.
