Entertainment Desk January 29, 2022

Lehengas are always a must-have during wedding seasons and while many of us prefer them vibrant, showy and heavily embroidered, a classic white is something that can instantly amp your look. As our style sense evolves, we come to see how less is actually more.

Thus, here are five B-town celebs – as spotted by Pinkvilla – who seem to have a love affair with white lehengas and have shown us how to carry them to forthcoming weddings.

Katrina Kaif

Kat’s Haldi celebration saw her in a gorgeous white Sabyasachi lehenga. While most brides opt for yellow outfits for the ceremony, the actor’s organza lehenga served as a pristine base that complimented her haldi covered face of hers. The ivory dress featured with gota work and tilla embroidery, paired with an organza dupatta in gota and marori embroidery, trimmed with kiran. Katrina accessorised with floral jewellery, tea-dipped to add a rustic touch to her look.

Sara Ali Khan

The young and often playful Sara Ali Khan is obsessed with white and this enchanting look of hers had to make it to the list. Her Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ensemble featured a plain white flared skirt and matching soft organza dupatta paired with a sleeveless blouse that was covered with 3D floral applique work. She also kept her makeup minimal with glossy lips and kohl-rimmed eyes, giving a touch of elegance.

Khushi Kapoor

This ‘star kid’ has a gorgeous collection of lehengas, according to the outlet, and her all-white Manish Malhotra number is worth talking about. She wore the capacious full-length skirt with a full sleeve high neck blouse featuring pearl embellishments. She completed her look with a straight ponytail, red lipstick and a pair of pearl earrings.

Tara Sutaria

The Tadap star donned a Falguni Shane Peacock lehenga with a full-sleeve blouse, complete with intricate embroidery and crystal work. The top featured a plunging neckline and an extended panel at the midriff with a beaded hem. Sutaria opted for a glam makeup look with her hair pulled back into a sleek bun. She accessorized with jhumkas and a matching ring.

Mouni Roy

The starlet, who recently tied the knot, made headlines for her choice of ensembles and being a fan of white, we still can’t get over her awe-inspiring look. Mouni wore a white organza lehenga from Idaho Clothing. It featured a puff-sleeved blouse, billowing skirt with embroidery in gold and a matching dupatta. She accessorised with an antique golden necklace, maang tikka and dangler earrings, completing her look with smokey eyes, nude lip colour and her hair tied back into a bun with roses.
