Rescue 1122 officials say team faced challenges due to presence of high tension wires and a complex location

LAHORE:

A cat, stuck on an Orange Line Metro track, was rescued following a two-hour long operation on Friday by Rescue 1122 officials.

The cat was stuck on the track running between Ali Town and Raiwind Road in Lahore.

According to the rescue team, their mission was to retrieve the cat alive, a feat that proved challenging due to the presence of high tension wires and a complex location.

The service stated that, "The cat kept hiding in a narrow hole as the team approached it, trapped between the gap of one of Orange Line's pillars."

The operation was postponded on Thursday night due to unfavourable conditions, continued on Friday morning, and was successfully completed after Two hours, the rescue team reported.
