KDA DG removed from corruption case

Case pertaining to misuse of power was heard before Provincial Anti-Corruption Court against the officers

KARACHI:

The Anti-Corruption Police have removed the name of KDA DG, Asif Memon from a case and submitted an interim challan in the court.

The case pertaining to misuse of power was heard before the Provincial Anti-Corruption Court against the officers. The investigating officer submitted the interim challan to the court. The text of the challan said that the government had issued orders for the transfer of the accused Additional Director Sheikh Farid, Assistant Director Muhammad Zubair and Assistant Director Atif Khan. As many as 48 files were recovered from an accused, Atif Khan's house.

The court adjourned the hearing till January 27.
