Punjab is the land of art and culture where culture has always flourished, said Attock Post Graduate College Principal Majid Waheed Bhatti.
He was speaking during the first phase of the district-level competitions of Punjab Talent Hunt 2022.
“The colors of Punjabi, Saraiki, Pothohari and Balochi culture are prominent in Punjab,” he added. “The Talent Hunt Program is an important step for the promotion of arts and culture,” he said. He said, “In the first phase, a large number of young people participated in the singing, painting and short story writing competitions.”
Meanwhile, the Punjab Arts Council Director Waqar Ahmad said that the programme was a unique initiative, which would showcase the uniqueness of Punjab and Pakistan to the world. He said that the purpose of the program was to motivate the youth as the future of Pakistan was connected with the youth.
In the competitions held at the Attock Government Post Graduate College, Hubble, Robin Gulzar and Muhammad Usman won first, second and third positions respectively in singing competitions. In the painting competition, Muqaddas Nazir secured the first position, while Um-e-Salma came second, and Shamsa Kanwal was third. In the short story writing, Noman Younis won the first prize, while Azma Parveen came second and Abdul Rafay got the third position.
