Mahira Khan, in an Instagram post, has revealed she has recently tested negative for the Omicron variant of Covid-19. Taking to the photosharing app, the Verna actor shared two pictures of her freshly-cut fringe with a fun caption.
Mahira, looking stunning in a fresh trim and sunkissed skin, revealed she had been down with Covid but has now recovered. "I went for a trim. First I asked for him to dye my hair pink and they are freaked out," she penned, vowing, "I will do it. I'm going to do it and then after the trim, I went back and said cut me a fringe."
Her mother's reaction seemed just far too familiar. "I came back home and my mother went - Ya Allah!" The actor further pondered, "Is it a post-two-time Covid survivor thing? Mid-life crisis? God knows. All I know is I’ve never been the one who dyed my hair in school/ college - not even a piercing here and there. And this felt good. Just doing something on a whim."
Mahira then revealed, "So yeah, I’m freshly Omicron negative and insanely life positive." She then quipped, "PS - all tips for maintaining a fringe are welcome!"
This would be the second time Mahira has tested positive. In December 2020, the Raees actor revealed on social media that she had contracted Covid. She went on to reassure everyone that she had informed those who had been in close contact with her.
"I have tested positive for Covid-19. I'm isolating and I have also informed all those who were in close contact with me over the last few days," Mahira had shared in her Insta post. "It's been rough but it will be okay soon. InshaAllah." she continued hopefully. "Please, please wear a mask and follow all other SOPs for your sake and others," urged the Superstar actor.
In the end, she had written, "Prayers and movie recommendations are more than welcome."
