KARACHI:

Addressing a press conference at Bahadurabad, the headquarters of Muttahida Qaumi Moment (MQM) Pakistan, deputy convener and member provincial assembly Kunwar Naveed Jamil said that Karachi has been a victim of deprivation and abuse in every era of the biased Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government.

“Instead of winning the hearts of the people of Karachi, the PPP always tries to capture it by conspiring but the PPP's dream of occupying Karachi has not been fulfilled till date,” the MQM deputy convener said. Jamil said that the Sindh government has demarcated the constituencies for its own political interests.

“In some places less population has been made a town and in others it has happened that more population has been made a UCs. Population differences in different places have been made keeping in view their political interests.

By renaming SITE Town after a Goth, the PPP has proved itself to be an ethnic party,” the MQM-P leader said. Jamil further said, “We will file a petition in the court. The biased PPP government rewarded their favourites in Karachi. Due to these excesses, the people of Karachi are demanding a separate province today.” Member Rabita Committee Zahid Mansoori, MQM member provincial assembly Hameed Al-Zafar and others were also present on the occasion.
