Fake Encounter: Policemen charged with murder

LAHORE: Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Sheraz Kiani on Wednesday framed charges on the police officers accused of killing a robbery suspect in Nishtar Colony in a fake police encounter. The judge ordered the jail authorities to produce DSP Riasat Bajwa, Sub Inspector Muhammad Riaz and Constables Muhamamd Asif and Abdul Qadir before court on August 24 and summoned the prosecution witnesses.

The judge also postponed the hearing of the bail application by DSP Riasat Bajwa till August 20.
