CM orders trauma centres along highway
Directed that the Department of Communications should provide assistance to the Department of Health
QUETTA:
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has ordered establishment of trauma centers along the Quetta-Karachi Highway in the face of increasing road accidents.
“The health department should prepare PC-1 for the establishment of trauma centers equipped with surgery and other medical facilities to deal with emergency,” he ordered.
He directed that the Department of Communications should provide assistance to the Department of Health on civil works and technical matters of the project in order to ensure timely completion.
“Precious lives can be saved by providing immediate and effective medical aid to the injured in traffic accidents,” he said.
