The victim tells the police that she was working at a bungalow in Defence

KARACHI:

Judicial Magistrate South has issued a show-cause notice to the investigating officer (IO) in the case of alleged rape of a housemaid by offering her a job. Karachi City Court hears a case of alleged abuse of housemaid by swindling job before Judicial Magistrate South. Plaintiff's counsel Nizam Channa maintained that the investigating officer did not record the statements of the witnesses. The case is being weakened due to the non-recording of statemen of the witness.

The victim had told the police that she was working at a bungalow in Defence. On September 2, 2021, the accused "Qamaruddin, a driver at a nearby bungalow, offered me that he will find a job for me. Later the accused put me in the car from Badar Commercial, and after a while, he also put his friend Wasim in the car. Both the accused brought me to a bungalow and raped me. The next day they threw me on the Seaview and fled.
