Hiba Qadir, Arez Ahmed tie the knot in dreamy Nikkah ceremony

The couple made their relationship public in early December

Actors Hiba Qadir and Arez Ahmed, who made their relationship public in December, have officially tied the knot! The couple’s intimate Nikkah ceremony took place recently, following a Mayoun event. The couple took to Instagram to share photographs from the dreamy ceremony, with Hiba dressed in a traditional white gharara, paired with a matching net dupatta which served as a veil.

Sharing a picture of her now-husband parting a flower curtain to get a first look at the bride after the Nikkah, Hiba wrote, “Mein hamesha sochti thi what is the first look [I always wondered what that first look would be like]. The couple’s mayoun ceremony took place earlier this week, with Hiba choosing to don a traditional yellow lehenga choli, complete with gold embellishments and floral jewellery.

The couple made things official in December. Dedicating their Insta grids to the announcement, the two posted a collage of them holding hands.

Expressing her love, Hiba wrote in the caption of one of the pictures, “I still remember how uncomfortable I was holding your hand in Bholi Bano, and today I feel the safest in your hands. I intentionally tried to stay away and not fall for you but gladly did. don't know who chose whom but I feel lucky to be selected for this crazy rollercoaster ride. Looking forward [to] a lifetime with you. Lastly, thank you for holding me when I was unable to hold onto myself. This is to announce that in this bustling world you are mine!”
