Coke Studio has unveiled the first look at its artist line-up in the form of posters for its upcoming season. Various artists from CS14 have announced their inclusion on their social media platforms, some, with heartfelt captions summarising their journeys and others, with a simple post offering a glimpse into this year’s music extravaganza.

Electronic Music whiz Abdullah Siddiqui took to his Instagram and revealed how he worked closely alongside Producer Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan (Xulfi) as an Associate Producer for the show. Siddiqui stated “I was associate producer on the upcoming season of Coke Studio under the guidance of Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan. This means I got to make a whole lot of the music you’re going to hear this season, and I also got to help curate the line-up of artists.”

Expressing his gratitude, Siddiqui added, “I will forever be grateful to Xulfi for trusting me with his brainchild and for taking me on the greatest artistic journey of my life so far. And I can’t wait for you all to hear these songs.” The Magenta Cyan hitmaker also shared that he “got to sing a song with the coolest collaborator one can ask for”.

Qawwals Zain and Zohaib Ali of Haiderium fame also took to their Instagram to share their participation: “How amazing is it when you get showered with blessings. Working hard all our lives to create the best of music and now, our hard work is being recognized worldwide,” rejoiced the qawwal brothers. The duo also thanked all the people who supported them throughout their journey.

Rising star Hasan Raheem also shared his first look from the show with the caption, “It was a dream”.

Coke Studio also released a BTS video a few days ago, showing the artist line-up talk about what magic is to them. Atif Aslam recalled his performance at the Royal Albert Hall for the first time while Faisal Kapadia, who’s going solo for this year’s CS after Strings disbanded, said magic is “being myself.” For Young Stunners, it’s magical whenever they write a song. And for Sherry Khattak, people singing his songs is magic.

Here’s hoping this season spells magic like never before.
