Mutual cooperation between Germany’s state-owned KfW Development Bank and Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) will further strengthen in the days to come, hoped German Ambassador to Pakistan Bernhard Schlagheck.
Meeting with Wapda Chairman Muzammil Hussain on Wednesday, the envoy cherished the fact that German financial institutions were among the leading partners of Wapda.
The two sides discussed matters pertaining to mutual cooperation in water and hydropower sectors.
On the occasion, Wapda chairman highlighted that the authority was undertaking a number of water and hydropower projects.
Thanking Germany for its assistance in hydropower projects through KfW, he underlined that the two sides had a history of strong relationship.
