My future husband will live with me and my mom: Sara Ali Khan

The actor opened up about her relationship with mother Amrita Singh in a recent interview

Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan opened up about the conditions which must be met before she agrees to tie the knot with her future husband in an interview with ETimes. Speaking about how close she is with her mother, Amrita Singh, the Atrangi Re starlet said she will marry only if her future husband is open to living with her mother.

The 26-year-old actor has been vocal about being extremely attached to both her parents, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita, but this time, she was particularly expressive about her relationship with her mother. Being used to having her mother around at all times, Sara shared, “I'll even get married to someone who can move in and live with my mom. I'm never going to leave her."

Expanding further on the mother-daughter dynamic, she said, “I can't even come to an interview without matching my bangles to my outfit with the help of my mother. I cannot step out for an interview till my mom doesn't tell me, 'Please add green bangles to your hand because you have a chalak (hint) of green in that corner of your dupatta.'"

The intimate bond presented itself, even more, when the Love Aaj Kal starlet shared that she finds a ‘home’ in her mother. “I am not capable of running away from my mother. Wherever or whenever I do run away, she is the home I have to return to, every day.”

On the work front, Sara was recently seen on the big screen starring opposite Akshay Kumar in Atrangi Re. Her upcoming project includes Laxman Utekar's yet-to-be-titled film with Vicky Kaushal.
