‘Tis the Season to be Jolly’: Musical duo performs Christmas classic at Karachi airport
Festive cheer was spread by musical duo Lenny Massey and his friend Selwyn Gerald Fernandes at the Karachi airport on Christmas Eve.
The duo chose to play jingle bells, a beloved Christmas classic as they entertained travellers awaiting their luggage in the baggage reclaim area of the airport.
Massey played his saxophone while Fernandes strummed his guitar, swaying to the cheerful beat. An elderly man danced his way into the frame for a few seconds.
"Yes, that's the Karachi airport guys! Merry Christmas everyone — make love not war," Massey wrote on his Facebook status.
"Yes, we did a jam at the Karachi airport. Amidst all this war, let's spread some love." Fernandes chimed.
This is the second time Christmas cheer has been spread in a Pakistani airport. On Christmas Day, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) had one of its air hosts, dressed up as Santa Claus and gave gifts to passengers – giving a new dimension to the saying festivity is in the air!
