The incidents of robberies and snatching at gunpoint continue unabated in the Central district of Karachi.
Despite tight security on the occasion of Quaid-i-Azam Day, three bike-riding robbers deprived the owner of a flour shop of Rs3.2 million on his doorstep in North Karachi.
The robbers effortlessly snatched two bags containing cash from Adeel Ahmed at gunpoint at his doorstep and fled unchallenged. The close circuit television footage of the incident, which went viral on social media, showed a white car parked in front of a house on the street.
Meanwhile, two robbers wearing helmets on two motorcycles enter the street and a third one comes walking down the street corner and together with their other accomplices, they take out two bags full of money from the car and escape in a few seconds.
In this regard Khawaja Ajmer Nagri PS Head Moharrar Hadi Bakhsh said that the police have registered a case of the incident on Adeel's complaint who owns a flour shop in North Nazimabad, Block-J.
The victim had come home with cash from his shop. He said that looking at the footage of the incident, it is clear that a person close to the victim was involved in the incident as he also knew the whereabouts of the cash and the complainant's home.
