Atif Aslam ditched his car to arrive at his concert on a bike at the KN Academy on December 24 , reportedly to dodge the heavy traffic outside of the venue in Karachi.
Fans spotted the Dil Diyan Gallan crooner braving through the area behind his crew member on a motorcycle in an attempt to "make it on time." A video of the same surfaced on various social media pages yesterday.
While many are lauding the singer for stepping out of his comfort, and let's be honest, 'secure' zone to honour his commitment, others - especially women - are angry at him for being purportedly 'four hours late'. Nida A Naqvi, an attendee alleged that the concert started "four hours" later than it should have in the comments section of Atif's video shared on one of the pages.
"Pathetic management and no professionalism or ethics," she lamented. Fatima Fasih, another disappointed fan claims the Aadat crooner has developed a habit of arriving late and women are the ones who have to rush home, missing out on the performance.
"He’s always late! He can learn a few things from Asim Azhqar about being courteous enough to reach on time. Who comes to a concert after 11PM when the time states 7PM?! I, for one, am never going to Atif’s concert ever, just for his sheer disrespect. By coming late, he makes the crowd rowdy and obviously, girls face the brunt of it and have to rush home, missing most of the performance!"
Several others, however, refuse to be let down by, inarguably, one of the biggest pop stars of Pakistan. "Atif Aslam never disappoints!" shared a fan in reaction to the video on Twitter.

Atif has neither responded to the praise, nor commented on the criticism.
Just a couple of days ago, Aslam garnered praise for leaving a concert midway after a victim of harrasment approached him. Someone had misbehaved with a girl from the crowd and she came to the star. But conflicting reports have surfaced on social media with eyewitnesses recalling different reasons as to what unfolded at the ill-fated event.
According to one, the crowd threw bottles at Atif, which prompted him to leave the stage halfway through his performance. According to some other sources, women were being groped and harassed by men in the audience. Many took to social media and called out the management for the poor security.
