SIU, AVLC arrest 18 outlaws in different operations

Recover 15 motorcycles, illegal weapons from their possession

KARACHI:

As many as 18 suspects were arrested during operations in different parts of the city.

Weapons and 15 motorcycles were recovered from the possession of the suspects.

The special investigation unit (SIU) arrested three suspects including Imran, Rajab and Faiz during the operation in Korangi and recovered illegal weapons and two motorcycles from their possession.

The accused are involved in robberies, police encounters and other crimes in Karachi and interior Sindh while also stealing and snatching motorcycles from different areas. Further investigation has been launched against the suspects.

Meanwhile, the AVLC arrested 15 suspects during various operations. The suspects include Fazal, Danish, Faizan, Sajjad, Jalal Hussain, Kashif, Shehryar, Irshad, Sameer, Abdul Hashim, Rafiq, Sajid Hussain, Dawood, Aqeel and Faisal. Motorcycles have also been recovered from their possession which they stole from different parts of the city.

Four accomplices of the suspects managed to escape and raids are being conducted in search of them.

During the preliminary investigation, the suspects have confessed to have committed several crimes while further investigation was underway in which many important revelations are expected.
