Child protection unit inaugurated in Okara

Residential facilities will be provided to children

Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Chairperson Sara Ahmad laid foundation stone of Child Protection Unit in Okara on Friday.

A special programme was organised in which MNA Dr Seemi Bukhari, District focal person CPWB Memona, Deputy Commissioner Okara, DPO Okara and others participated.

While addressing the participants Chairperson Child Protection Welfare Sara Ahmad said that the building of Child Protection Unit Okara will be constructed in district complex Okara.

In the unit, residential facilities will be provided to the children.

She further said that the construction of building of CP unit will cost about Rs31 million and will be completed in two years.
